Lomo experiments

I’ve been trying out Vistaquest VQ1005 digital lomo cam since last Monday and discovered a few problems so far.

• Lack of user manual, I don’t even know how to insert the battery at the first place.
• The firmware is buggy, sometimes you might lose some photos you took, just like that. I don’t even know how to reproduce, so I did very frequent backup.
• Plastic body and built quality ain’t that good.
• Very sensitive to battery.If you battery is running low, you will get errors like E57. E58 etc due to the camera doesn’t have enough power to process the image it just took.
• Sucky viewfinder, I don’t even know what’s the purpose of having one.

Anyway, the photo you able to get from the camera its kinda great.Here are some sample photos I took so far.
